Terms of Service

Bisogo lets players see real court availability and book it, and gives approved venues a storefront and a schedule. The court itself is provided by the venue, not by Bisogo. Your booking is an arrangement between you and the venue; Bisogo makes it possible and, where you pay online, collects the payment for the venue.

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 18 to hold an account, or be 13 to 17 with a parent or guardian’s permission.
• We may suspend or close an account that is used to cheat, harass, abuse a venue or break these terms.

• Prices and availability are shown before you book. A booking is confirmed when you see the confirmation, and a booking that waits for payment is held for a short time only.
• You are told how to pay, which may be online or at the venue. Online payments are processed by PayMongo and are subject to its terms.
• Please arrive on time and use the court only for the time you booked.

• A booking you pay for online is final. If you cancel it, or do not turn up, it is not refunded.
• Where a venue takes payment at the venue instead, that venue’s own cancellation policy, shown before you book and saved with your booking, applies.
• If the venue cancels or declines a booking you have already paid for, for any reason (bad weather, a closure, an emergency, a double booking), you are given a voucher for the full amount you paid, to use on a booking at that venue. We email it to you and show it on your booking page and, if you have an account, in your account.
• A voucher is for you only: it can be used only by the person who made the original booking, and it cannot be passed on or sold. It does not expire during our pilot, and we will give notice before that changes. Vouchers are not exchanged for cash.
• If a voucher does not arrive, or something else goes wrong with a paid booking, contact hello@bisogo.ph.

• A venue is listed only after Bisogo approves it. We may ask for identity and proof-of-operation documents, and we may suspend or remove a listing.
• You must keep your hours, prices, blocks and cancellation policy accurate, and honour the bookings made through Bisogo.
• You must only list courts you are entitled to rent out, and only upload photos and content you have the right to use.
• Bisogo’s fees, and when and how we pay you, are those agreed with you when you join or shown in your venue dashboard.

• Use bots, scrapers or other automated means to book, hold or take data from the service.
• Try to access other people’s accounts, venues or data, or interfere with how the service works.
• Post anything unlawful, misleading or abusive.

Bisogo is a booking platform. We do not run any court, and we are not a party to the arrangement between a venue and the person who booked it.

• The venue is responsible for its facility, its staff, the condition and safety of the court, and how it treats players. You are responsible for your own conduct, your own safety and that of your guests, and for what you bring with you.
• Playing sport carries risk of injury and loss. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage to a person or property at a venue, or for any dispute, disagreement or misconduct between a venue (its owner, staff or other representatives) and a player, or between players. Please settle these directly with the venue. If you tell us, we may look into it and act on the venue’s listing, but we are not obliged to resolve it or to compensate anyone.
• We work to keep Bisogo available and accurate, but we provide it “as is”, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect losses, or for what a venue does or fails to do.
• This does not limit our own responsibility for what we do ourselves: collecting your online payment, passing it to the venue, and giving you a voucher as described above. Nor does it limit rights you have under Philippine law that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do; continuing to use Bisogo afterwards means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Questions: hello@bisogo.ph.
